Adjunct Professor Christine Charles

Christine Charles is a non-executive director and Chair who brings substantial board and executive experience, with a particular focus on operating in highly regulated environments and realising the business benefits of understanding and managing regulatory, sovereign, community and environmental risks.

She is Managing Director and co-founder of D4G and has held a variety of positions at executive levels in the private, public and community sectors, as well as in academia.

Christine chairs the Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining at the University of Queensland, where she is an adjunct Professor and UQ Fellow. She is also Chair of the Resources and Engineering Skills Alliance Board, and a non-executive director of both Territory Generation and the Transitions in Mining Economies Co-operative Research Centre.

Christine actively supports the development of a strong independent, commercial and economic Indigenous sector.
