The State Government
The State Government presently supports the Trust by way of an annual grant and the provision of the services of an Executive Officer within the Department of Premier and Cabinet. The administration of the Trust’s activities is made possible by this generous level of support.
Public Subscription & Scholarships
Funding for the Trust has traditionally come from Government, along with public subscription in the form of tax deductible donations and bequests from individuals and the corporate sector. Initiatives are underway to broaden this support base by actively co-operating with industry, including the establishment of further joint Industry / Playford scholarships.
Through investment of its capital over the 25 years since its establishment, the Trust has disbursed the income in the form of scholarships, awards and research grants.
Donations & Bequests
A donation to the Playford Trust is a wonderful way of investing in the future of young South Australians.
The Trust is indebted to those who are able to support its work through donations and bequests. The generosity of such donors helps in providing support to an increasing number of students.
